Turned out a lot better than I initially expected 
Obviously, this is Topaz's eye. Derp.
But, i saw a picture not too long ago of a really neat black wolf with a purple eye, and it had this awesome way that it was done. And I wanted to try it, but I couldn't find the picture to reference. So I kind of improvised. Note that the other one looked a lot cooler, this is just me experimenting.
Regardless, it was fun to try some realism again. I really want to evolve my style to be more realistic than cartoony, but I have to figure out fur before that can happen
