Two years??????? Two years. I don't even know where to begin on this, but I guess October 19, 2012 is as good a place to start as any.

You've probably heard this story almost as many times as I've told it, so I'll spare you the details, but let me emphasize this: I don't know what kind of magical, crazy fate brought us together. I don't know why I picked you, of all the people streaming up through the staircase. I never thought my desperation to sit with someone would bring me to the love of my life, and yet, here we are.

I don't know why I called out to you, but "I'm glad I did" doesn't even cover it. I don't like to think about what would have happened if we didn't spend that football game together, because I know that alternate reality wouldn't have you in it, and that's not a parallel universe that I'm interested in.

You are my whole universe. I love everything about you, inside and outside and things you do that you don't recognize. There aren't enough words or sentences or hours in the day to even attempt to list everything I love about you.

I know I talk a lot about your eyes. There's something enchanting about them that I've never seen in anyone else's, ever. They are bright and beautiful but change colors to match the sky and sometimes your shirt, and once they were perfect mirrors for the aspens around you. They're the kind of blue that every author in the world tries to write about and every painter wants to capture it, but you are full of light and your eyes show it...and that is not something someone can emphasize for others to understand.

Not only do you put up with my various quirks and bad habits, but you make me feel like they're not so bad after all. Sometimes you stop me from picking at my nails, and you pretend that you just want to hold my hand, but I know you saw me tearing at my skin and I thank you for trying to keep my fingers pretty. And you still buy me large sodas even when I ask for a medium, because you know I'm just trying to be polite (but I also guzzle soda like my life depends on it)(and at this point, I wouldn't be shocked if it did).

You're the first person to know me inside and out in so many ways. I've never been so close with anyone, ever in my life. You are my best friend and my best romance, and I still can't promise you forever, but I'll be damned if I let anyone try to stop me from getting there with you.

Thank you for sitting with me at that football game, thank you for patching up my heart and soul, and thank you for filling my life with love and laughter. Two years down, and here's to many more

OKAY, now that my mushy gooeyness is out of the way, let's talk about this picture.

I've actually had it done since September 29th, but I scheduled it for later (hehe sta.sh is pretty rad), because I didn't want to post it and let Matt see it early BUT I didn't want to let it rot on my computer (I'd surely forget) for 20 days, so I did this funky thing to make myself feel like I accomplished something.

This was something I worked on for a few weeks, whenever I had the time. It was a challenging project, for sure; I tried a lot of new things and got back to some old things and broke the blur brush on SAI, but in the end, I'm very happy with it. It was more than relaxing to get to draw Topaz and Puzzle again...the babes haven't seen much action lately ()(well, I've been doodling them a lot, but those doodles will realistically never make it to dA).

The background was fun, too! I learned a lot and really like it. I know it probably could be more, but it is what it is, and I like it, so there.

Also, I changed Puzzle's tattoo color. Matt and I talked about it, and he went with blue as the new color so ye
